Dr.Abhishek Ghose Biswas
MBBS, MD (Pathology), CCDM
Dr. Abhishek is passionate towards providing effective health care services and is passionate about medicine.
He graduated his MBBS from Manipal Group of Hospitals and then did internship from Guwahati Medical College, Guwahati in 2019.
He worked in several private hospitals as Resident Medical Officer and ICU doctor .
He served in CoVID as Covid warrior.
Dr. Abhishek did a short course in Diabetes Mellitus from Fortis Hospital, Delhi in association with British Medical Journal and Royal College of Physicians, London in 2018-19.
He joined MD Pathology in 2023 as Junior Resident in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Wardha.
Dr. Abhishek worked in department of Paediatrics from Guwahati Medical College Hospital and also served as Casualty Officer in the same hospital in 2022-2023.
My Art, Research & proficiency skills
1)Got selected for Short Term Studentship from Indian Council of Medical Research for project title "Pulmonary Function Tests among Students in a tertiary care hospital" in the department of Medicine. Published the same in The Indian Journal of Medical Research as. First author. 2) Got my research protocol " Utility of Serum Lipids and CEA Levels in comparison to various histopathological parameters and TNM Staging in patients of colorectal carcinoma" in Journal of Clinical Diagnostic and Research.
3) Case report on Rectal Melano carcinoma published in the same journal. 4) Other reports and projects on the run.
Hobbies include - painting, reading, writing and open mic sessions.
Painting - Completed 2nd year in Fine Arts, participated and won in many regional events, also won 2nd prize for poster in World Health Day which is displayed in their website. He took part in mic sessions organized by various NGOs in and around Guwahati.
Fluent in English,Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Sanskrit, Nepali and broken Marathi.
Residence belong to Guwahati, Assam and Uttarpara, Kolkata. Schooling from prestigious Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tinsukia and awarded with accolades and awards at both district and state level, including Science Congress, District Commisioner Prize, Best Boy 2005, And many others.
